Early life and career

Graham was born in Toronto, Ontario, Drakes uncle is musician Teenie Hodges a popular musician. Drakes father is African American and his mother is a white Jewish Canadian. Drake  was raised by his mother in Toronto in a rich neighbors hood, Drake went to school at Forest Hill Public School, and high school at Forest Hill Collegiate.

Drake one of the biggest names in hip hop has stated that he feels that Jay Z and Eminem have the best fans when it comes down to
loyalty, the rapper has said that he feels their fans admire them the most. Drake also has said that he feels that Jay Z
has never had to go through much in his career unlike stars such as Lil Wayne and Eminem.

In other news Drake will be at the OVO festival with Jeezy, this will be one to look out for.

and sources say that a possible relationship is on the cards,

Drake has been getting alot of media attention latelys, with storys about
the popular rapper appearing in many websites and newspapers.

Its not just popularity in the main stream media which is building Drakes
fan base its also videos of youtube, raido airplay and phone tones which
are drumming up Drakes impressive fan base sizes.

At only 22 drake is set for a big future ahead of him.

How Drakes Acting career started -

It started when drake played the character Jimmy brooks in the popular series Degrassi.

How Drakes Music Career took off.

It was January of 2006 when drake released his first music in the form of a mix tape called room for improvement the title really said it all the mix tape was good but their was room for improvement in drakes sound.

The mix tape was made available on myspace for free to Drakes loyal fan base. Their was a great success from this first mixtapes by drake and his fans wanted to hear more from their new much loves artist, which lead to Drake dropped another mix tape in 2007 called comeback season.

In the year 2008 drake had his biggest sucess by far releasing his new mixtape "so Far gone" which included some very hot track Drakes real mentor Lil Wayne got him in the right way showing him how to make it form the bottome to the top in such a short time.

Also other members of lil waynes young money lable appeared on the records making it even more popular. Drake became the first rapper form Canada to have a music video on BET be featured which was quite alarming. His main hit singles were Drake Replacement girl and Drake joint of the day.

Drake has said that he will be 100% loyal to lil wayne and stay with his record company, Drake who is relatively new to the music business has come out with all arms swinging to develop a very strong fan base. The positives of working with lil wayne is that he has a huge wealth to back Drakes projects and also is very well known on a worldwide level so Drake can perform along side lil wayne and cross promote his music with lil wayne.

Drake is currently signed to the Label Young Money, which is affiliated with Cash Money records.

Drake said his affiliation with Young Money has lead him to meet a lot of great people along the way, Lyor Cohen is a special man to Dreak, Also interscope records have been introduced to Drake. Drake says he defiantly plans to work with Lil Wayne the rest of his career and he believes it’s a smart move. The next big music Festival will be Amercias most wanted music festival on the 26^th of Jul where Drake will be performing along side Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy and Lil wayne.
